Tulip HEAVEN!!!

I love Oregon! I love all the gorgeous scenery. Everywhere you look it is just BEAUTIFUL! One of the best times to visit, is in april, when you can experience the tulip farms. It is not something you see just anywhere. And it is breathtakinly beautiful! Every year, I head down to the tulip farm, and it is just AWESOME! Their are tulips as far as you can see. Their is every color imaginable! Check it out and see...

I love IT! the pictures just do not do it justice. I love taking the kids here. They love playing on the farm and i have fun looking at the beauty! It is always a blast!

The kids loved all the activities they were able to do...

We were able to get a group shot of all the kids....

We had only one major one of these(aka tantrum)....

We had the gavinator putting the moves on his best friend (aka girlfriend)....

And finially, we had only one scare of a missing one of these(well a BIG scare actually) but we found him safe and sound!....

All in all it was a GREAT day and i cant wait for next year!

Take Me out to the Ball Game...(Sing ALONG)

......Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game!"

The Con Man has finally become of age where he can play youth sports here in Oregon!! WOOT! ...HOORAY ...Yahoo... Clap!!! I am soo excited that he is now old enough to be able to do this. This kid has been wanting to play baseball..(this and soccer are his favorite sports) for quite some time now...Not only is he old enough now to officially play on the park and recs teams, he is thrilled it is baseball!

He has been telling me for quite some time that when he grows up, he wants to be a "Baseball player"! He really loves it. In Oregon you start playing on the parks and rec team at 5. Well conner is 5 but since his birthday is in July, he made the cut off so he plays with older kids. This means Coach pitch..as oppossed to hitting it off the tee. I was worried at first about how he would do with that..but he has done AWESOME! He can really hit that ball!

He is BY FAR the YOUNGEST!.... but i must say it is ADORABLE to watch him out there playing. Most of the boys are 6 and 7...And most of the boys are at least a head and shoulders length taller than him. Today they had their team pictures and it was adorable when they lined up biggest to smallest..and well conner was the second to smallest kid. Which is a rarety for my son. He is super tall for his age. He towers over most all of his friends, so to see him as the smallest at something is actually kinda cute!

When they got their uniforms..i laughed at how big his shirt is. It is a big kid size medium. Too cute...since he only wears XS and sometimes i will get him a small. So to look out on that field and see his over-sized shirt tucked into his baseball pants, and that cute little boy soo excited to be on the field, it just makes my day!

Just today at our game a few of the other players moms came up to me to say .."I just love looking at your son on the field...he is soo little out there and i love how is is always smiling!" ..I am soo happy conner is having fun and loves playing baseball! Go SUPER CRUSHERS!!....

The Con Man up to BAT...!

The Con Man Fielding!....

I am excited for this season! Super Crushers...you Rock!! All I need is some peanuts! well....and a nice stadium hot dog and coke would be nice too....

There once was this little Easter Grinch...Or was it an easter Grouch.....

Easter was super fun for the boys...
They were so excited about eggs the easter bunny left out in the backyard for them. In fact they were soooo excited they woke up unfortuntely for me, at 600 that morning. But i had a TOn to do that morning so it worked out.
I tried to get some pics of the boys...but this was the best i could do. They wanted nothing to do with picture taking this day! I love Mr.C's forced smile and of course the gavinator is sticking his tongue out.

I thought it was comical that a few sundays ago when i didnt have time to take pics..the boys wanted me to take some, so at least i have these that semi turned out! And they "Kinda" wanted to smile big for the camera!

The day turned out to be great..even though i was "semi" grouchy. It was due to me going to bed WAY tooo late and being up Way too early. I would say jesse thought i had a little easter "Grinchiness" going on:) I told him i definately agreed! I just felt bad that i took all my "grinchiness out on him". Any who...Happy Easter Everyone! I hope that everyone had a fun filled..non grouchy wonderful EASTER day!

And it makes me happy!

I have two favorite seasons...spring and fall. I especially love these seasons in the amazingly beautiful Oregon. The colors are so amazing. I love when the trees bloom. As you drive into my lovely Oregon neighborhood...you get to see a ton of these....literally there is not one road you drive down and it is covered in these beautiful trees...the pictures just do not do it justice!

And it makes me happy....

.....................................................................................

Last night we dyed Easter eggs with the boys. The kids absolutely loved it this year. Sadly, last year we didn't get to dye Easter eggs since we were on a plane coming home from vacation at midnight... So this year the kids could not wait to dye their eggs! They thought it was soo cool.

Here are some pics from the fun event:

This picture set is from when we each had the "magic" crayon and we were each making something special for each other.

Conner loved being able to play around with all the different colors. Since when did Easter dyeing kits come with like 400 different colors. I swear when i was little we had 4 maybe 5. Nowadays these dang kits come with like 12 or more. It was confusing as He*$ to try and get all the colors correct and add the vinegar where needed on only certain colors and try to keep track of all of them to make sure you did it right. It was soo confusing. In fact J and i actually added vinegar to some we shouldn't have and oops those didn't turn out..hahahaha oh well..the kids did not notice, and i thought 8 colors was plenty to choose from. It was also funny to me also that some colors look like they would be just what they look like and when you bring the egg out is was something completely different. For example..the color yellow. The colored dye with the water looked green. VERY GREEN. so i told the kids it was green. Well.. out comes the egg and it is yellow..very yellow...WHAT??? Apparently i didn't listen well enough in rainbow school because the water looked green to me. Very GREEN!

It was soo cute to see the Excitement all over their Face's!

My favorite eggs were the ones we made special for each other. They were adorable!

And it makes me Happy!
