The tale of the Christensen Fam Reunion!

(WARNING: long post! exciting... but long!)
So back at the end of July we had the Christensen family all come up here to oregon for week!! It was soo fun to have all of J's immediate family be here! We loved being able to show them the different things oregon has to offer! And we loved having the family be able to see where Jesse and I live! WE had a blast! It was soo nice to spend time with the family and see all our cute nephews! We reserved a beach house up at Rockaway beach, Oregon! I love it here! It is sooo beautiful! It is one of my favorite beaches to stay at! I love the BEACH!! The best part was our Beach house was LITERALLY RIGHT ON THE BEACH! It was soo AWESOME to open our back door to the sand ...and see/walk right to the ocean! Plus their was the added bonus of the house having a gate around the backyard, so the kids were all able to play in the sand, and we didn't have to worry about them sneaking out to the ocean! I was soo happy that we were able to have a house that fit every single one of us and had room to relax..plus it BACKED to the beach and it was afforable!Oh my!!... It was paradise! well..except the water is icy cold...and the weather was not 90 degrees! but come on...we are at the oregon coast for goodness sake...not Hawaii!


B4 we went off to the coast for our fun week..We took the family to the nature reserve here by my house! It was soo fun! I love the nature reserve, and i love that u always have soo much fun! Plus it is FREE!! We packed up a picnic dinner...and decided to take the family and show them this awesome place. We had a ton of fun! We walked the nature hike and saw all the beauty their is to offer! I would say EVERYONE HAD A BLAST!









After all the excitement and Craziness to get out the door to the coast...we FINIALLY MADE IT!...It was soo nice!


We got to practice yoga.





And we played lots of beach soccer!(my fav...but i am sooo OUT OF SHAPE!)

We saw some awesome sea friends! there where soo many everywhere!








My 6 year old found me a heart shaped rock..he then presented it to me as a suprise and told me how much he loved me! It made my heart melt! And i had to keep the Rock!


You may call us crazy, but we all ran willingly in the Freezing Cold OCEAN for a swim!!...oh my..!!! OH MY... Was it cold...Conner even braved the ocean..and same with his cousin josh!

Mr.C and the Gavinator had a blast with their cousins...and they tell me daily how much they miss them.







By the end of the week, we all became professional ROCKSTARS!!

We loved being able to enjoy this time with family! It was soo nice to have them up here! We loved it, even through the occasional choas:)..We want to do this again! and we miss everyone already!






It was soo nice to escape the real world! and who better to do it with than your family!

Happy Birthday Gavinator!!

So the birthday's in this family are close together. Conner and Gavin's birthdays are two weeks apart. Mine are Jesse's are a week apart. The boys are in the summer. Mine and J's are in the winter.

I just wanted to give a little shout out to my little baby, the gavinator! Except sadly he is no longer a little baby. I cant believe today he is three. I swear it was just yesterday that i had him. He is such a delight! He has brought soo much to this family! We love him soo much. I am soo grateful for him. Happy Birthday little man...we love you to death!(he would say ..."i not little man...I a Huge boy.") hahahaha.

I love his raspy little truckers voice...i love his sense of humor...i love the way he squints his eyes just like i did when i was little...i love he thinks the WORLD of his older brother!..and would do anything for him!...i love his cute little smile....I love that when he talks he puts the letter "f" in front of his words...He will tell me all the time how much he loves his "frother"(brother)I love how he says "frandma and Frandpa(for grandma n grandpa). I love how he says the word "Trucks"...except it comes sounding like another word like that, but just with the F sound in front! hahaha..oh man, i laugh everytime! I love how he blows me kisses...he blows me the kiss first...then he makes the kissy noise with his lips.(backwards to how it is normally done)..I love how much he makes our family laugh....I love how every night when we put him to bed...he ALWAYS come out at least 3 times. And each time he says..."i just needed to give you a kiss mommy"...or "i just needed a hug mommy" no matter how many time i have hugged and kissed him goodnight..!!!oh the list could go on for days and days...WE JUST love everything about this boy...head to toe! I love my amazing boys! I love them both soooooo much! They are the world to me! Thank you little gavinator for joining this world 3 years ago...and thank you for being my "huge boy"!

Why??!!!!

Lovely...the AC in my house is officially broken...and i am sooo MAD...It is HOT..and i just want it fixed..

HOT!!

It is HOT!! and i meant HOT! that is with a capitol H-O_T! It reached a scorching 106 degrees yesterday and today it hit 110...My house has AC...but it cant keep up. I cant EVEN imagine how those with no AC are surviving. I even feel bad for the bums outside who are roasting to death themselves...(did i say bums out loud..i meant transients). I feel bad for the old people who have no AC and have no energy to go out and get in the wet sprinkler to cool down...i feel bad for babies..they have no clue in he&* why it is soo hot and they have to be stuck in a hot carseat to travel..I hate that as soon as you open the door outside it feels like a wall hits your lungs and you cant breath or see cause it is soo hot. I feel like everytime i open the door outside i feel like i am going to die a horrible heat related death. I feel bad for the dogs and cats who have to be outside...I thought by the time i got home from work echo and joey (our dogs) were going to be dead from heat stroke...It was SOOO HOT!(don't worry..they were ok..we cooled them down with spraying them with water multiple times throughout the day...gave them lots of water and made sure they had shade to lay down in) they are surviving but i am pretty sure they are as bugged as i am.) Even joey who hates water and always freaks out, was willing to get sprayed down!

Even with AC, my house is still sitting at 87 degrees right now. That sucks and that is just the downstairs. It is 930 at night...the temp outside has not cooled under 98 degrees..and holy smokes i am going to have to take another cold shower!..I don't want to complain or sound like a wuss...but if i were living in Vegas or Arizona...the hot weather would be fine. The houses have AC and that AC actually works. Plus..I feel more mentally prepared to enter the heat in those states..I am more prepared......the houses have tile inside and i love to lay my hot body across the cold tile to cool down. There are pools in most peoples yards...or if not, at least your neighbor or close friends have a pool to go in.....Here in beautiful Oregon...it is NOT fine to be this hot! seriously....i am done with the HOTTNESS here! The only hotness i want is MY HOTTNESS...I want to be the only hot thing in Oregon! hahahahaha! I'm done..and i would like my perfect 80 degree weather to come back and visit me!

Just make the heat go away...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CONNER!!!

6 years ago...On the 15th of July 2003... at 10:27 pm...I delivered my
first born. My sweet baby boy, Conner finally entered this world! We were soo excited to have him join our family!
I cant believe that today he is already 6! I cant believe I am old enough to have a 6year old..I swear sometimes I still feel like im 16 and too young to have kids!Conner is such a sweet boy! Happy birthday Conner! You have made all my dreams of becoming a mommy real! We LOVE U Too pieces!!! Thank you for just being you! I love you!

I love this website. I can be having a terrible no good very bad day, and as soon as i click on this site..I LAUGH!...and i laugh REALLY HARD!
